The Louver is a kind of a shutter or blind that comes with horizontal slats that are angled to allow space for light and air but restrict rain and direct sunlight whereas dampers control the airflow. In HVAC systems, dampers and louvers are used to regulate the flow of air.
Louver systems are installed on most buildings to ensure a smoother intake and exhaust of air, and also to provide stronger resistance against rain and noise intrusion. However, louvers have many uses for both engineers and architects.
Louvers are specially designed ventilation products that allow air to pass through them whilst simultaneously preventing unwanted elements from entering a building. This can include water, debris and dirt.
